About us

We are Raimondas and Giedre - owners and teachers of "Zouk Alegria" dance studio.

We teach social dances and believe that dancing is an unique and special opportunity to know yourself and other people better, grow your personality, improve relationship and enjoy them more, release your body, soul, musicality, imagination, to relax and forget all negative things, improve self confidence and simply start to enjoy the life.. :)

Our dance experience we've collected from early age is really similar. Before meeting each other we both were dancing ballroom, folk and other dances, later we have tried social dances (salsa, bachata, kizomba) and simply fell in love with them! We were intensively taking classes, improving, collecting experience in seminars, festivals and then our paths of life crossed in 2013. Our passion to dance has grown even more so we started to travel and improve together. The same year we deeply fell in love with Brazilian Zouk, which has taken us to it's magical world. But at the same time we knew that every dance is special and fascinating so we created an aim - to touch and understand the culture of dance itself, and to learn from the best teachers in the world. So we have traveled to many countries and attended seminars, workshops, festivals, congresses all over the Europe, took private classes with professional and world-acknowledged teachers, special teachers courses and etc. We decided to share all this knowledge and love with all of you :)

We have regular dance classes in Klaipėda, Lithuania, since 2015. We also organize events, seminars, workshops in other cities as well, and it is possible for us to share our passion in other countries.

We would like to invite you to join and learn from experienced, professional, always improving and learning from the best teachers who love their work. Our dance community is open for everyone - we are like family and take care of each other :)
